BVSI

The BVSI insulated operating hook is fixed to an insulating pole with a B end-piece. They can be used to open and close switch-disconnectors.
The hook operating finger is made of a highly glass-fibre reinforced composite material. The hook body is also made of reinforced composite. It can be fitted to poles with bayonet ends and is fitted with an insulating knurled nut for locking. The result is an active part that is fully insulated and mechanically reinforced to withstand the repeated tensile and shear stresses inherent in its use.
