Tools included in the kit CNPT/240-1-MV-NG enable the user to splice each layer of distribution underground cable ranging from 50 mm² up to 240 mm² in 12/20 kV, prior to junctions or terminations installation.
Tools in the CNPT/240-1-MV-NG allow the user to perform the following actions :
- Sheath abrasion
- Sheath removal
- Strippable semiconductor removal
- Strippable semiconductor residue removal
- Non-strippable semiconductor removal
- Slitting
- Sheath spreading
- Sheath tightening on the screen connector
- Insulation removal
- Chamfering the end of the insulation
