Estos detectores de tensión están diseñados para verificar que una tensión nominal está efectivamente ausente de un circuito en un sistema de AT entre 1 kV y 69 kV (Verificación de Ausencia de Tensión) :
- El aparato debe detectar cualquier tensión nominal presente en una red o en una subestación.
- Evita detectar las tensiones inducidas para poder realizar las operaciones de puesta a tierra.
