Bu voltaj dedektörleri, 1 kV ile 69 kV arasındaki bir H.T. sistemindeki bir devrede nominal bir voltajın etkin bir şekilde bulunmadığını doğrulamak için tasarlanmıştır (Voltaj Yokluğu Doğrulaması):
- Cihaz, bir şebekede veya bir trafo merkezinde mevcut olan herhangi bir nominal gerilimi tespit etmelidir.
- Topraklama işlemlerinin gerçekleştirilebilmesi için indüklenmiş gerilimleri tespit etmekten kaçınır.

The presence of voltage within the calibrated range or above is indicated by a RED light and abeeping sound

A low battery level is indicated by an ORANGE light
