/ Use
The two-flange saddle, combined with ball thrust bearings and screw or hydraulic cylinders, is used at the end of a tower arm to suspend an insulating chain.
If the saddle is in danger of slipping or tilting, secure it to the tower using the eyebolts on the side of the top flange.
The saddle consists of :
- an upper flange fitted at each end with a swivel-mounted ball-joint support, enabling the fitting of ball-bearings for screw jacks or hydraulic cylinders. One side of the upper flange is fitted with two eyebolts,
- a fixed (for type 1) or swiveling (for types 2 and 3) lower flange connected to the upper flange by two connecting rods,
- two removable support legs.
